Cosworth moved to its current Northampton base in 1964, with a staff of approximately 40 people.  Today Cosworth is regarded as one of the top employers in Northampton.

The site consists of 11 separate factories that house some of the most technologically advanced design, manufacture and test equipment that the engineering world has to offer.

Such has been Cosworth's contribution to motorsport that it was the recipient of the coveted Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) Business of the Year award for 2003.         Cosworth is and always has been a recognised centre of excellence for automotive engineering in the UK and has close ties with the local communities as well as colleges and universities.
